Jesh had a conference in Boston for work and we had a voucher from being bumped in a previous trip so we used that to fly me to the conference with him.
This is Jesh and I saying goodbye to our boys. We meet up with Jesh's sister, Brittaney, and her husband half way between their house and ours so they could watch the boys for the 8 days we were gone. I really didn't want to say goodbye to them in gas station but we ran out of time. Leaving them was SO hard. I've never left them for so long. I think the longest before this was for one night.

We have sooooooo many pictures of Boston. I just picked a few to share.
We started our trip by renting a car. The company we rented from had some sort of mystery upgrade, where we wouldn't know what were getting but it would be the same cost as the small cars. We ended up getting a Mustang convertible. It wasn't that warm out but we still road all the way from Boston to Plymouth with the top down. I was soooo cold. Jesh had never driven a mustang before so that was fun for him. We stayed our first night in Plymouth and saw all the site there. It was sunny but cold so I ended up having to buy warmer clothes because I wasn't prepared for the cold.
This is a remake of the original Mayflower.
Also in Plymouth we went to the Plimoth Plantation. Both places were really neat. They had people who were in full character. They acted and talked like they were from the 1600's. At the plantation they had recreated a English Village and a Wampanoag Homesite.
Some of the view from our hotel
Make way for the ducklings in the Boston Public Gardens
Mike's Pastries, a famous place to find yummy yummy pasteries.
Paul Revere's house
Acorn street- A really neat street we found while we walked around Boston. I loved the architecture in Boston.
Jesh and I went on a ghost tour of Boston. One of the ghost stories took place on Pinckney St. Where a jealous ghost would pull on the hair of the women if a couple was walking down the street. This is my reenactment.
I don't remember if this was the original Cheers or the remake. We saw both.
Jesh and I had sooo much fun on this trip. We walked or road the subway everywhere. I don't think I have walked so much in my life. While Jesh was at his conference I planned out our night and went shopping on Newbury street. We had a couple days to just tour which was nice. I think we saw pretty much everything there was to see in Boston. We really loved Boston and maybe had a little too much fun without our kids. But we were so glad to see them when we were done.
